SALVATION

Welcome To The World Of
THE PETALS OF MANY HEARTS.
The home of God's children,
sharing their God-given talents;
expounding on the virtues of God's love,
and caring as well, as expression of human desires and
love for all creations.
This is the portal to the soul of the poets
whose conjecture of simple things
are actually exponents of their mind,
exploring, multiplying, then exploding into
myriads of consciousness.
A poet alone translates the ethereal
into words of wisdom, trains of thoughts
into vivid microcosms of
man and woman traversing the earth:
The neglected and the unseen objects into
the beautiful and the sublime.
Indeed, welcome, open up your minds and hearts to
the people of the world,
to celebrate your beautiful creations
in honor of His name,
for He has blessed all of you
with talent of wit and rhyme.

THE HOLY SCRIPTURES

THE OLD TESTAMENT
GENESIS 1:26
And God said,
let us make man in our image, after our likeness:
and let them have dominion
over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air,
and over the cattle and over the earth,
and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

THE OLD TESTAMENT
GENESIS 1:31
And God saw everything that he had made, and,
behold, it was very good.
And the evening and the morning
were the sixth day.

THE OLD TESTAMENT
DEUTERONOMY 29:29
The secret things belong unto the LORD our God:
but those things which are revealed belong unto us
and to our children for ever,
that we may do all the words of this law.

THE NEW TESTAMENT
JOHN 1:1 - 5
In the beginning was the Word,
and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
The same was in the beginning with God.
All things were made by him;
and without him was not any thing made that was made.
In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
And the light shineth in darkness;
and the darkness comprehended it not.

THE NEW TESTAMENT
REVELATION 22 :13-14
I am Alpha and Omega,
the beginning and the end, the first and the last.
Blessed are they that do his commandments,
that they may have right to the tree of life,
and may enter in through the gates into the city.

One and All

God's creatures, large and small...
He made them one and all.
Some are beautiful - others ugly.
Some repulsive - others 'snuggly'.

Some are useless - at least for us,
hard to find a single plus.
Ants and spiders, flies and lice,
any useful or one bit nice?

Add roaches, scorpions and bed bugs.
Do we caress or give them hugs?
Yet when a butterfly flutters by,
we hope he'll light and pause nearby.

Consider poodles and Koala bear...
we pet and cuddle to show we care.
Stalwart horses are high on our list
of those we admire and can't resist.

Did the elephant cause the Ark to tip?
On the deck did seals cavort and slip?
Giraffes needed a very tall space
to stretch their necks in that curious place.

Bunnies had to hop around,
while birds warbled their melodious sound.
Stop and think about hundreds more,
some we love and others abhor.

God's creatures large and small,
He made them...one and all!

Genesis 1:1-3; 31
In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
And the earth was without form, and void;
and darkness was upon the face of the deep.
And the spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

And God saw everything that he had made,
and, behold, it was very good.
And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

In Every Beginning

In every beginning a life is born, a life to suffer,
a life to enjoy and a life to sacrifice.
In every beginning a new born cries, a miracle!
A creation of The Supreme Rule.

In every beginning a cry of new life summons and beckons.
Every breath of sigh, every bit of hope and
every breath of gladness.
A cry of new Life!

The beginning of a miracle, a miracle for living!
A reason to live and a reason to exist.
A reason to ponder, a reason to prepare because
in every beginning there is an end.

An end the humans bemoan and wish not forfeit!
In every beginning darkness envelopes and beckons as:
The earthly threshold closes its gates.
In every beginning a new kingdom awaits.

"Thy kingdom come and Thy will be done".
In every beginning, every single soul awaits.
A paradise to enjoy with life everlasting!

John 1:1-5

and without him was not any thing made that was made.
In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

"I" To "WE"

I looked out my window and what did I see?
Another of God's miracles staring at me.
Peaking through dancing shadows,
coral flowers 'wave' at me.

Pink images bobbing in the breeze
create distorted ripples as on the sea.
My own private 'seashore' meant for fun and glee
and splashing galore, casts reflections so 'fancy free'.

More than mere water trapped in a pool,
God's vivid beauty winks at me.
By day a red sun, blue skies, white clouds,
green leaves, pink blossoms harboring bees.

By night a big mellow moon hides behind a tree.
God is full of miracles, but not just for me.
May you, too, catch the vision.
Revel in God's miracles along with me.
Whatever we share suits to a "T"!

Glance out your window, really look around.
Take time...you'll see God's miracles abound.
Again, I looked out my window and what happened to me?
Raising eyes toward Heaven, I changed
"I" to "WE".

The Great I Am, our present tense God,

active, caring, loving, welcoming, calling each one.

From all eternity through the present into all eternity

The Light shines.

The glory, radiance, power, healing, love, forgiveness surround us in the now.

Christ has come. His Spirit is present.

Yes, Christ will come again.

Good Morning, GOD

Good Morning, God

Good morning, God.
Today is Yours, not mine,
to know what I'm heading toward.
Will it end in regrets or turn out fine?

You hung the glowing moon last night.
You pulled down the shade, gave darkness and rest.
You pulled up the shade, in streamed light.
Another day, will I give You my best?

If I close myself to Your inner voice,
my feet may stray, I may miss Your path.
If I tread alone and make a poor choice,
my eyes may not see what for me, You hath.

With compassion my stubborn heart fill.
Don't let me ring empty and hollow.
Help me surrender my all to Your will,
today and each one that may follow.

When this day is done and resting time is mine,
may Your guiding hand, have kept from regrets,
so it turns out fine.
Good morning, God.

LEAVES OF A HEART

THE HEART is a symbol of DIVINE LOVE.
THE FLOWER is a symbol of NATURE'S BEAUTY.
Having arrived here at
THE PETALS OF MANY HEARTS
you will now experience, in written word,
a high expression of that
LOVE AND BEAUTY
through the voice of the Poet. Though the flowers in a garden be diverse,
their fragrances blend in a pleasing and soothing elixir of contentment and bliss.
THE FLOWERS SING AS ONE VOICE OF LOVE AND BEAUTY.
Their purpose is but to provide fragrance and vision for your blessing and enjoyment,
to bring serenity and prompt your further meditations of
LIFE AND LOVE.
If one were to envision
A Large Vase Into Which Were Placed Many Of These Flowers
and then to envision that vase sitting in the middle of
A LARGE FAMILY TABLE
around which we all were seated-and then if we were to gaze upon that
LOVELY BOUQUET
we would find that it could be seen only from our own, limited vantage points.
We would not see the other side or the other angles--only our own.
In time, we would begin to gain a sense of assurance
and comfort from our individual viewpoints, our perspectives.
And further, if we were to always return to that same chair--
our particular view would begin to resonate most strongly as our experience of
LOVE AND BEAUTY,
perhaps even a sense of rightness would develop.
Perhaps because of our familiarity, tradition and
accustoming to our sole vantage point, we may deem other paradigms as unreal,
fantastical-and even, perhaps, make-believe, unrealistic or ‘wrong.'
But we are in community here, gathered around
this family table awaiting our
HOST'S NOURISHMENT.
And now the Host enters and announces that before partaking of
THE FEAST
we will play a round of musical chairs. Here at this table,
in this game there is only one change in the traditional rules.
No chair--no viewpoint--will be taken away. All are welcome.
In fact, more chairs may be added--all paradigms are welcome here.
There will always be room for more.
You are hesitant to play this game... Change seats? What? Change my vantage point?
Well, it is the Host's table at which I sit. You acquiesce and rise to take a new seat.
You make yourself comfortable and raise your eyes to look out at the others.
There, in amazement you behold, instead,
THE BOUQUET!
Ah! you exclaim in utter wonderment. The bouquet! Why, it is different now!
So beautiful! Look at those lovely flowers!
SEE HOW EXQUISITE THEIR PETALS?
Everyone at the table is expressing the same delight at
THE NEW BANQUET.
THE HOST asks for a moment of silence before THE FEAST
is served. Everyone becomes silent. There is a sacredness in the air.
There is a sense of gratitude abounding here at this
HOLY TABLE,
appreciation and understanding before unknown and unexperienced.
For is not this the very same bouquet which sits before us all?
Does it not smell just as fragrant from here as from there?
Are we not but now seeing it anew through an expanded awakening of consciousness?
IS THE HOST OF LOVE AND BEAUTY NOT ONE AND THE SAME ESSENCE?
Is it not our Host's Bouquet upon which we are all fixated and being edified?
Come! See and enjoy the words of the Poets
who desire to share their feast of understandings at this gathering of
THE PETALS OF MANY HEARTS
It is our hope that our words and expressions may awaken you to new insight,
new fragrances, new textures, new concepts of
DIVINE LOVE and NATURE'S BEAUTY.
We welcome you to stroll at your leisure through
OUR FLOWER GARDEN.

HUMANITY
is a garden of life;
of all, for all, from all-
given by the blessings from
G O D,
where culture, tradition and history of each country
reside in the hearts of the people.
It is for every generation to cherish and to learn from.
It is for every generation to teach, to help mould
in the minds of the youth, the youth who are the
future pillars and builders of a country.
The youth whose lives we need to protect
from the oppression of many tyrants.
Every moulding place
has to start at home
with faith in
G O D.

Goodnight, God

Goodnight, God

Another day is history,
written on the pages of the heart.
Were its acts and words etched only by me,
or did I often seek Your part?

May my thoughts have been prompted from above,
my hands doing good deeds for You.
Did I put You first, showing others Your love,
or did I flaunt myself, giving others their 'due' ?

Lord, sometimes it's hard to be kind
when the world throws 'dirt' my way.
Did I stop to think before I spoke my mind,
"What would Jesus say?"

Forgive me for the times I failed,
to let Your Light shine through me.
Still You stood by as together we sailed,
buffeted on life's troubled sea.

You at the helm held things calm and steady,
kept tossing waves from swamping my boat.
Day has waned, night time is here,
I am ready off to dreamland to float.

In these final moments of a day shared with You,
my heart turns toward less fortunate ones.
Opressed, alone...outside Your fold, too?
Through us may You reach those daughters and sons.

A lost world yearns for Your saving touch,
yet how will they hear if no one is sent?
To those for whom You died and love so much,
help us tread the selfless road down which You went.

Thank you for all Your blessings this day.
We rest in You now for service tomorrow, we pray.
Goodnight, God.

Let Me Hear Your Love, My LORD

Let me hear your love, my LORD
when I feel a fiery touch of the sun.
Whispering hello, during the setting of the sun,
bidding goodbye.
Saying..."Lift your heart and live in a sanctuary of hope."
Let me hear your love, my LORD
when I feel the grandeur of life in every sunshine
as the sun awakes and the day unfolds...worshipping You.
Let me hear your love, my LORD
when I feel the gentle breeze caressing my face
during the setting of the sun, bidding goodbye.
Saying..."Rest your mind and sleep in a cradle of peace."
Let me hear your love, my LORD
when I feel the silent embrace of a rising moon
during sinking of the sun, bidding goodbye.
Saying..."Come unto me and tarry not,
you will hear a lullaby of love.
Dream... Tomorrow, rise again!
Life will be new.
Let me hear your love, my LORD
as I hear the voices of two great lights!
The Sun and The Moon,
that You created for the universe.

As Dawn Brushes Darkness Away

Ever so gently Dawn comes to greet Darkness,
touching, teasing, caressing,
blushing with delicate shades of color.
Then with rushing speed, she brushes him away.
Dawn secretively allows form and shape to be seen.
Bold silhouettes stand tall. Others float upon the sea.
Ocean waves applaud the action.
Glorious sun prepares to rise above it all.

Bright rays burst through openings in the clouds,
dance in streams above the horizon,
reflect upon waves moving toward shore.

A new day breaks upon the scene.

Victorious light has ushered in the morn.
Hush and color of newness afford breath taking drama
Quiet calm and beauty bring confidence and joy.
Reality of the creative, redemptive God, offers peace.
