To Question, Or Not To Question?
On May 7th, Janet G. Gosney turned eighty!
Now here's a thought that's pretty weighty:
Some predict we'll make it to 'one fifty'!
My question: "Who thinks 'one fifty' is nifty?"
I'll gladly go when my time is up.
After all, I'm no young 'pup'!
Eight decades is a long time 'to be'.
My question: "How much longer can you put up with me?"
However, I belong to God...I'm His to command.
Ages have passed since His schedule was planned:
"...A time to be born and a time to die."
Not mine to question, "When?" nor "Why?"
Years ago a clear glimpse of Heaven I saw.
Such music I heard and what light! Pure awe!!
I yearned to stay, begging not to come back.
Not mine to question - God was guiding my track.
What blessing I'd have missed had I slipped away.
God alone nudged me back to earth that day.
No questioning His plan full of surprises - privileges, too,
such a s growing old...knowing and loving You!!

Dedication:
"A time to be born and a time to die."
God holds the answer.
Psalm 40:8; 40:16
I delight to do thy will, O my God:
yea thy law is within my heart.
Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee:
let such as love thy salvation say continually, The Lord be magnified.
Ezekiel 36:26
A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you:
and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh,
and I will give you an heart of flesh.
